Latest SEO audit analysis I did on #LamarSystems, discussing content, UI/UX usability issues, Web Presence Optimization, and good practice guidelines.

The company was originally registered as an LLC in 2014 by Chad Boss, the owner and founder since 1994. Lamar Systems built camera systems, and is the first company to integrate HD imagery in an outdoor remote controlled camera system. Lamar Systems is a design and integration company that specializes in products that simplify the process of delivering high-quality video over many different wireless and wired network types. Lamar Systems has been making outdoor HD camera systems since 2004. Customer list includes some of the most demanding clients in the world: ABC, NBC, CBS, Time Warner, FOX, and NASA. Chad Boss holds a patent in video transmission over bonded cellular connection in 1994. 

1- Website Review Summary:

The domain name was registered in January 2002. The current design dates back to August 2016. The site is protected with https but http URL is not correctly redirected. 14 insecure requests found which do not use HTTPS. The site is mobile friendly and cross platform compatible. Searching for internal pages, it appears that product information is not accessible from the home page nor from the Product page. Strangely the hero image displays Toronto as the company is based in Tulsa. Social media links are present on the site, Instagram is not much active and Facebook last post dates back to 2018. The company Linkedin page shows five employees, and is automatically created and is not yet claimed by the company. Documentation of some systems and products are available via a Google Drive link, last updated in 2016 by Jordan Boss.

3- Points for Improvement:

Total Page Size: 1.58MB. The homepage hero image could be optimized, and source javascript minified/compressed. The current content of the site is very basic, and lacks all expected pages of content. As well, the URLs ending with ​​/myskyboss, /lux, /pro, and /new-page should all be clickable and accessible from the product page. Terms and Privacy pages are missing. The homepage does not have a meta description. The site structure could be kept and optimized, but the content should be updated to follow guidelines and recommendations for best performances and indexing. As it appears in Google Search Results, the company does not show in any snippets for social nor maps.
