Latest SEO audit analysis I did on #CrystalVision, discussing content, UI/UX usability issues, Web Presence Optimization, and good practice guidelines.

Crystal Vision Ltd. was founded and registered in the UK in December 1995 by Philip Brian Scofield, the current Managing Director. Based in Whittlesford, Cambridge the company has an office in the USA and distributors in over 50 countries across the world. Crystal Vision provides audio video solutions for broadcast engineers seeking best-of-breed interfaces and keying products to solve problems using SDI or IP video. Crystal Vision’s latest products are software apps that run on the MARBLE-V1 media processor hardware. These video processing apps provide linear keying, video delay, profanity delay, color correction, picture-in-picture and fail-safe switching.

1- Website Review Summary:

The domain name was registered in September 2000. The site is protected with https, and the outdated structure is not cross platform compatible nor mobile ready.  The current design made in html dates back to 2013. The homepage provides links to social media accounts, with only Twitter being active. The site is kept regularly active, with latest news, press releases and product profiles. The site reflects its presence in various international exhibitions. The site contains 400 internal pages and recent pdf references. As the site is active and well referenced, it performs very well in terms of optimization, for various keywords. The site’s Product and Software documentation is well kept up to date.

71/100 Performance – 75/100 Accessibility – 75/100 Best Practices – 82/100 SEO

GTMetrix Desktop:

Largest Contentful Paint 1.8s – Total Blocking Time 104ms – Cumulative Layout Shift 0.01

3- Points for Improvement:

Total Page Size: 2.30MB. Some landing page images could be optimized and browsers errors have been flagged. This is a very good example of following general guidelines in optimization, performances are very high for various keywords. In terms of general UI and UX it is imperative to redo the site and update the structure to follow Google guidelines for mobile first indexing as the site is not mobile ready, hence avoid possible being downgraded in terms of SERP.
